Just the facts... using the Overview segment for case law searching

Free-text searching is a beautiful thing.  However, sometimes you aren’t looking for that passing reference, but rather you need to know what “the essence” is.

You can use the OVERVIEW segment to locate cases dealing with particular subject or matter.  This limits your search to the summary prepared by our case law editors and will direct you to substantive decisions that are on target.   So try taking advantage of this segment the next time you are doing case law searching  (any jurisdiction) or helping someone with this task.
