InfoPro Home > Training & Tutorials > Research Tips Check a Citation and Coverage of a Publication Using the Get a Document tab, select the Citation button. In the Get by Citation box, there is a link to Citations Formats. Click on this link to locate the correct citation format for any retrievable publication. This link takes you to the Citation Format Assistant tool. You can scroll through the publications alphabetically, or type in your publication. For example: I am looking for a DePaul Law Review article, volume 50, page 1. Using the Citation Format Assistant, I type in DePaul. A list of seven DePaul publications is returned and I select DePaul Law Review. When I click on this link, a citation box is shown, prepopulated with the correct citation format. All I have to do is enter the publication and page numbers, 50 and 1. The additional feature of this tool, is it will tell you the coverage information, too. For DePaul Law Review, the coverage is from volume 42, 1993 forward. So if your request is for an article published prior to 1993, you are aware that you need to retrieve using another means.
