Icons, Icons and More Icons

If you are not too sure why some icons have skinny straight red arrows verses fat swooping blue arrows or other designs altogether, it is really easy to find out. To discover what an icon represents all you need to do is roll your curser over it and an explanation of its function will appear. For more information, at the bottom of the search pages, you’ll find a key of icons.

These icons tell you what search option to expect once you have clicked on the link next to them. For example, the red arrow icon links directly to access the source’s Table of Contents, whereas the blue arrow icon links the user directly to the source for searching. This is another easy way to discover the different depth and search options that are available through lexis.com®.
