If you are using simple authentication for CaseMap or TextMap security, you can easily change a user password. Passwords are global for all cases accessed in the CaseMap Server.
1. | In the CaseMap Server pane, click Users. |
2. | Right-click on the user for whom you want to reset a password. |
3. | On the Action menu, click Set password. |
Or, right-click on the user and click Set password.
4. | In the Set password dialog box, type in the new password and confirm it. |

5. | Select the Email user with new password check box to send the user the new password information. |
6. | Click OK when you are finished. |
The user's case password is immediately updated.
A Microsoft Outlook email template opens addressed to the user. The email body contains pre-written text that you can modify with your own message.
