LexisNexis CourtLink® Heightens Industry Standards for Court Docket Access Services Launching Dedicated Customer Care Campaign
West Gateway Customers Reap Immediate Benefit with Free Trial of CourtLink® eAccess Service

BELLEVUE, WA, March 11, 2002 - LexisNexis CourtLink, Inc. reaffirmed today its longstanding commitment to deliver premium products and exceptional customer service to legal professionals by launching a “CourtLink Customer Care” campaign that reaches beyond the company’s direct customer base. The program immediately will assist users impacted by the termination of access to CourtLink eAccess via the West Gateway, by providing West customers with a free two-week trial of CourtLink eAccess.

West Gateway customers can take advantage of this complimentary trial offer that ends March 31, 2002 by simply calling toll-free, 1-866-500-4955 to start using the CourtLink eAccess service almost immediately. The limited trial is intended to help seamlessly transition users disconnected from the limited-feature electronic court docket service that was previously available through the West Gateway, directly to CourtLink eAccess.

“CourtLink continues to raise the bar for how litigation is conducted in this country, by introducing intelligent tools that help litigators win more cases and force better settlements,” Ann Fullenkamp, chief operating officer, LexisNexis CourtLink, Inc. said. “By providing West Gateway users of our docket data with the ability to directly utilize the CourtLink eAccess service, lawyers, paralegals, librarians and legal researchers will finally experience the highest standards of court content, product performance, feature functionality and customer service. Individuals who use CourtLink eAccess directly know that there is no comparison when you consider price, content and performance”.

Leading law firms understand why access to superior docket information is so essential to client matter management and are quickly signing up to receive direct access to CourtLink® services. “Using CourtLink eAccess, every individual in our firm now will have access to up-to-date and on point docket information,” said Alirio Gomez, Director of Library Services, Milbank Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP. By personalizing access to the most comprehensive collection of docket information, the CourtLink eAccess service equips legal professionals with unparalleled access to the nation’s courts – business critical to those managing litigation matters.

“LexisNexis CourtLink remains unmatched in our technology expertise, service and market offerings,” Fullenkamp said.
