Web-Savvy Industry Peers Salute LexisNexis™
Online legal research pioneer recognized for two Web-based legal services, garners the SIIA Corporate Achievement Award
DAYTON, OH, April 16, 2002 -
Web-savvy industry peers voted LexisNexis™ at lexis.com and lexisONEsm, the legal industry’s leading Web-based legal research services, the best in their class in the 17th annual Codie Awards judging by the members of the Software and Information Industry Association (SIIA).
The company also won the SIIA Corporate Achievement Award for its pioneering development of the first online legal research service, launched in 1973.

The winning LexisNexis product categories were Best Online Government or Legal Information Service, LexisNexis at lexis.com, and Best Online Professional Reference Product or Service, lexisONE.

Codie Awards recognize the best in software and digital content products and services. More than 320 companies submitted more than 700 nominations. The awards were announced Monday night at the SIIA annual conference in San Diego and awards ceremony.
