LexisNexis™ Amplifies International Business Content With Integration of D&B Information to nexis.com
New content is second of several new international business resources

DAYTON, OH, May 30, 2002 - LexisNexis™, the global leader in legal, news and business information services, today announced the addition of D&B Web-based global business information and reports to LexisNexis™ at nexis.com. Until now, D&B information was accessible only on the LexisNexis Classic system.

D&B provides the global business information, tools and expertise needed to help customers make confident business decisions.  D&B customers use D&B Risk Management Solutions to help manage credit exposure, D&B Sales & Marketing Solutions to find profitable customers and D&B Supply Management Solutions to manage suppliers efficiently.  Over 90 percent of the Business Week Global 1000 rely on D&B as a trusted partner to Decide With Confidence.

“By adding Web-based D&B global business information, LexisNexis is enabling professionals to quickly gain insight on their customers, prospects and partners,” said Paul Kesaris, senior vice president of Enterprise Solutions for LexisNexis Corporate and Federal Markets.  “By integrating D&B’s leading company and industry analyses with other high-value business content, we’re helping customers build profitable relationships and drive competitive advantage.”
D&B global business information now available via nexis.com includes:

  • Business Information Report – The Business Information Report is a solid source of data that can help customers perform critical analysis of another company’s operations, profitability and stability.  Designed to help evaluate medium-to-higher risk decisions, the report contains in-depth information that can include financial statements and payment performance data to help make daily credit decisions, plan sales calls and discover business opportunities.
  • Payment Analysis Report – The Payment Analysis Report (PAR®) provides an in-depth historical analysis of a company's payment performance.  A customer can quickly see how a company paid its bills within the past year as reported to D&B.  This valuable information can help your organization in assessing potential risk and evaluating whether or not to extend credit.  The Payment Analysis Report also provides information on the average bank balances, as well as information on any suits, liens or judgments that may be present.
  • Supplier Evaluation Report – The Supplier Evaluation Report is a predictive tool that uses an easy-to-understand risk score (on a scale of 1 to 9, with 1 being the lowest risk and 9 the highest) to help determine the risk involved of doing business with a U.S. supplier.
  • Comprehensive Report – The Comprehensive Report is an informative, in-depth evaluation of a company's financial stability.  This easy-to-read report provides data helpful in predicting a company's potential financial stress.  The report contains key information about a company.
  • Business Background Report – The Business Background Report provides a customer with a brief business summary and background information on a company as well as the business background of its senior management.
  • Dun's Financial Profiles – The Dun’s Financial Profiles gives an overview of companies’ financial condition, complete with industry benchmarking of a firm’s key business ratios and financial performance.
