LexisNexis Unveils New Librarian Page
Valuable New Tool Provides Quick and Easy Access to Reference and Research-Related Content that Law Librarians Consult Most Often

DAYTON, OH, July 08, 2002 - LexisNexis™, the global leader in legal, news and business information services, today announced the launch of its new Librarian Page.

Designed by librarians for librarians, the new page provides easy source selection on a single page, with templates geared to fit a librarian’s needs. The page displays general as well as specialized reference sources; numerous company, people and legal news sources; company information; secondary legal sources; and related Websites.

“The Librarian Page is a one-stop shop that equips librarians, especially law librarians, with the tools necessary to handle the information requests they receive everyday,” said Holley Thompson, vice president, Relationship Marketing.

Through the Librarian Page, LexisNexis works in partnership with its valued librarian customers to deliver focused information and productivity tools right to the desktop.

The page features:

  • Simple source selection on a single page with easy to use search templates
  • Single page layout, which highlights reference and secondary legal sources which are key for thorough and complete researching
  • Related links to professional development resources and to LexisNexis tools, which enable librarians to manage their offline collections.
  • Quick search forms to frequently-consulted news and company materials; this saves time and provides pinpoint information.
