New Pennsylvania Statutes, Annotated by LexisNexis Give Attorneys More Current Annotations Online

DAYTON, OH, August 28, 2002 - LexisNexis™, the global leader in legal, news and business information services, said today it has expanded and enhanced its online offerings to include Pennsylvania Statutes, Annotated by LexisNexis. Pennsylvania Statutes, Annotated by LexisNexis is the most recent online annotated statute product introduced by the company this year, bolstering fast access to authoritative and state specific information available on its legal research system.

Offering more current annotations than printed statutes, the first release of Pennsylvania Statutes, Annotated by LexisNexis includes annotations that are current as of August 12, 2002. Annotations cover laws dating back to 1968, the date of the most recent codification of the state’s laws. Coverage will be expanded in future releases to include rules and constitutions. Annotations are written and edited by LexisNexis attorney-editors who are well versed in Pennsylvania law.

Transactional use of the new online annotated statutes will continue according to customers’ existing search or hourly charges.
