By providing integrated search functionality, LexisNexis Total Search expands the boundaries of the LexisNexis Total Research System by allowing users to search the lexis.com® service and the law firm’s internal work product simultaneously, fully utilizing the intellectual property and collective expertise already residing within a firm.
With LexisNexis Total Search, AGSK attorneys and employees can quickly and easily find relevant work product - including existing pleadings, transactional materials, memoranda and motions written by in-firm experts - together with trusted information from LexisNexis. These secure and confidential single searches deliver results from both AGSK and LexisNexis sources and are presented for easy reviewing and seamless navigation, irrespective of the source.
Additionally, LexisNexis Total Search provides cross-referencing and integration between LexisNexis content and AGSK’s internal work product. Users at the firm now will have the Shepard’s® treatment integrated into their internal work product, and when case law is cited in other internal work product, it is identified along with a link to the citing document. These features greatly enhance the productivity and efficiency with which AGSK attorneys and employees approach research and drafting tasks.
