LexisNexis Continues as Official Publisher of Florida Administrative Code and the Florida Administrative Weekly
Company to offer print and online versions of state rules and regulations
DAYTON, OH, November 23, 2004 - LexisNexis U.S., a leading provider of legal, news and business information services, announced today that the State of Florida has renewed its contract as official publisher of the Florida Administrative Code. The company offers the annotated publication both in print and online.
The code is the official compilation of the rules and regulations of state regulatory agencies such as the Department of Transportation, Department of Elder Affairs, Department of Education, Department of Environmental Protection, and Department of Health.
"This vote of confidence in the form of renewal is just another example of how LexisNexis is providing valuable research tools to the state. You’ll already find the Florida Supreme Court and the Florida Attorney General’s Office enjoying the full breadth of LexisNexis research," said Bill Wilshire, Senior Director of Market Planning for LexisNexis. "And with the recent launch of thousands of new Florida forms, LexisNexis continues its commitment to adding quality and depth to its state offerings."
The print version of the Florida Administrative Code is a 15-volume set that features monthly updates. Both the print and online versions include historical citations, relevant case annotations, and references (direct links in the online version) to corresponding statutes.
The State of Florida also renewed the contract for the Florida Administrative Weekly, which contains proposed administrative rules filed the week preceding the date of issue and is also a timely source for notices of meetings, workshops and public hearings; notices of petitions and dispositions; and notices regarding bids, proposals and purchasing, as well as other public notices.
