DAYTON, OH, April 07, 2005 - LexisNexis U.S., a leading provider of legal, news and business information services, announced today that the state of New Jersey has awarded LexisNexis a multi-year contract to serve as the official publisher of the New Jersey Register and Administrative Code. The company offers the annotated publications both in print and online.

"As official publisher of the New Jersey Register and Administrative Code, LexisNexis is able to offer users timely online and print updates to the regulatory actions of the state, making this key information an important element of the Total Research System for New Jersey" said Leigh Trippe, vice president of Government Relations, LexisNexis. "We look forward to the opportunities available to create new specialized products that will combine state sources to focus in on specific subject areas."

The Administrative Code, offered in a 33-volume set, is the official compilation of the rules and regulations of state regulatory agencies. The annotated code is updated twice a month and supplemented with the biweekly updates from the New Jersey Register.

Both the print and online versions of the New Jersey Administrative Code include historical citations, relevant case annotations, and references (direct links in the online version) to corresponding statutes.

The New Jersey Register contains all proposed and adopted administrative rules - and is a timely source for public notices, Executive Orders and rulemaking calendars.

LexisNexis will begin publishing the New Jersey Register and Administrative Code this summer.
