DAYTON, OH, May 10, 2005 - LexisNexis a leading provider of legal, news and business information services, today announced that Charles F. Ter Bush has been named vice president for the Tax and Accounting market segment.

Ter Bush, who has 25 years of experience in the U.S. Tax publishing market, will provide expertise on tax and accounting product and content development for LexisNexis Group as well as driving market strategy. His appointment is effective May 2.

"Charlie’s wealth of knowledge and experience in the Tax market will be invaluable as we work to provide unmatched Tax products and continue to increase our market presence," said Clemens Ceipek, senior vice president, LexisNexis Corporate and Public Markets.

Most recently, Ter Bush was president of STF Services Corporation, a subsidiary of the Bureau of National Affairs. Before joining STF Services, he worked for over 10 years at CCH INCORPORATED in a variety of roles including Strategic Planning Manager and Director of Marketing for the CCH Federal and State Tax group. He also practiced tax accounting with Arthur Andersen after an earlier stint as a tax law editor at CCH.

Ter Bush is a licensed CPA and attorney in Illinois. He received his juris doctorate from the University of Illinois College of Law and completed his undergraduate work at The Ohio State University.
