LexisNexis CourtLink Offers Statewide Online Access in Colorado
Attorneys can search real-time court records by case number and litigant name
DAYTON, OH, December 14, 2005 - Beginning Dec. 19, Colorado attorneys will have simple desktop access to more online statewide litigation than ever before, including new search and track functionality, through LexisNexis® CourtLink®, a leading provider of online docket alerts, tracking and advanced searching.
Attorneys can search real-time court records by case number and litigant name, track cases of interest and receive automatic updates from all Colorado district courts, all Colorado county courts (excluding Denver County), selected municipal courts and all seven water courts. CourtLink also offers online access to U.S. District Court content.
"LexisNexis CourtLink is a one-stop destination for complete court records information – local, state and federal. That makes it easy for Colorado litigators to use court records strategically," said Michele Vivona, vice president and general manager of litigation services at LexisNexis. "We’ve made it easy for attorneys to track case proceedings automatically, to be among the first to know about new developments in existing cases of interest."
LexisNexis also announced that CourtLink® Alert will be available to Colorado attorneys in early 2006. Using Alerts, attorneys are able to receive automatic e-mail notifications of newly filed cases so they can be among the first to know when a client or prospect is sued, sometimes even before the client is served.
Also available now is CourtLink Document Retrieval Service, which gives Colorado attorneys the ability to request retrieval of offline documents in all federal and state courts.
According to Vivona, LexisNexis provides strategic insight and greater control throughout the litigation process, while LexisNexis CourtLink document retrieval is another way LexisNexis helps attorneys manage litigation documents simply and easily.
