LexisNexis, a leading provider of legal, news and business information services and tools proven to improve firm productivity and profitability, formally introduced version 4.0 during the LegalTech New York trade show and conference, Jan. 30-Feb. 1, 2006.

LexisNexis Total Search v.4.0 is an integrated search tool that allows researchers to use the precision searching capabilities of the lexis.com® service to simultaneously search LexisNexis content and the firm’s internal collection of most relevant and useful work product. Powerful linking between internal content and LexisNexis analytical and primary law materials further enhances the researcher’s experience. In addition, integration of real-time Shepard’s Signal indicators to both internal and external documents through LexisNexis Total Search assures legal professionals that their arguments rely on only the best precedent.
