LexisNexis Launches New Estate Practice Product to Select Markets
Newest Total Practice Advantage offering brings client development, legal research, practice management and litigation services to estate practitioners
DAYTON , OH , January 19, 2007 - LexisNexis® today launched LexisNexis Total Practice Advantage for Estate Practice to the California, Florida, New York, Ohio, and Texas markets. The newest version of the company’s successful Total Practice Advantage solutions offering, LexisNexis Total Practice Advantage for Estate Practice is designed for legal professionals who develop estate plans, administer estates, litigate estate or probate matters, or plan for the needs of the elderly or disabled.
With more than 2,500 current customers of its litigation and bankruptcy versions, Total Practice Advantage is the latest example of how LexisNexis and its Total Practice Solutions strategy provides law firms with more complete solutions that meet broader business and practice area needs.
Like the Total Practice Advantage versions for litigation and bankruptcy announced in 2006, this new estates practice version brings together the software and Web tools attorneys and their staffs need to more effectively manage their business and grow their practice.
“The opportunities for lawyers in estate practice are tremendous right now. Members of the huge Baby Boomer generation are in their 60s, and our research shows only 30 percent of adults have contacted an attorney for estate planning documents*. Lawyers poised to take advantage of this opportunity must have the tools to efficiently handle client intake and routine documents, plus the resources and insight to handle the most complex issues,” said Bill Wilshire, vice president, LexisNexis Total Practice Advantage.
A combination of practice management, research, client development, investigation tools and more, LexisNexis Total Practice Advantage for Estate Practice is software tightly linked to exclusive online LexisNexis content. The company’s award-winning practice management software, Time Matters®, is the backbone of this new offering, which includes content, capability, insight and unmatched investigative tools from leading LexisNexis brands including, Shepard’s®, Martindale-Hubbell®, CourtLink®, HotDocs®, Mealey’s™, Matthew Bender®, Michie™, SmartLinx™ and LexisNexis® Company Dossier. Each state version also includes the leading resources for that region, including Deerings, Judicial Council of California, and Anderson’s.
In addition to leading brands, subscriptions to Total Practice Advantage come with premium one-to-one telephone support and online training.
