LexisNexis® to demonstrate corporate & professional solutions for corporate librarians at special libraries annual conference
A major conference sponsor, LexisNexis executives will share insight and expertise in four different venues
NEW YORK, NY, June 10, 2008 - LexisNexis® today announced several executives will deliver speeches and exhibit at the June 15-18, 2008 Special Libraries Association (SLA) Annual Conference at the Washington State Convention Center in Seattle, Booth #701. LexisNexis will be a major conference partner at the annual conference.
Michele Vivona, senior vice president and general manager of Global Web Strategy
at LexisNexis, will introduce the opening keynote speaker, Dr. Vinton G. Cerf,
vice president and chief internet evangelist for Google, who will be interviewed
by television journalist Charlie Rose. The opening keynote is scheduled for
5:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 15.
As an advocate for new Web-based applications, Vivona will also participate
in a Business and Finance Division panel called "What's All the Buzz about
Social Networking Applications?" at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, June 16. Vivona
is responsible for development and execution of Web strategy for LexisNexis,
which includes employing technologies that allow LexisNexis to participate and
collaborate with customers in new and enriching ways.

Web 3.0 applications to search tools designed to uncover business opportunities,

will present "The Globalization of Information" at 9 a.m. on Tuesday,
June 17 in the Hot Topics Series. Alicia Koundakjian, Government Solutions Consultant
at LexisNexis, will participate in a Continuing Education Series panel at 8
a.m. on Sunday, June 15 called "Training from the Trenches: Tips, Tools
and Techniques for Every Budget."
