Law Firm, Olswang, Upgrades to InterAction 5.1
Product maturity, functionality and ease of use for fee earners
OAKBROOK, IL, August 16, 2005 - LexisNexis Interface Software announced today that law firm, Olswang, has upgraded to InterAction® 5.1 as part of a strategic business development initiative. Olswang will leverage InterAction 5.1 to centralise intelligence about relationships, clients and other strategic contacts to support marketing and client relationship management efforts.
Olswang had been using InterAction 4.1 for a number of years and following significant growth of the firm and a new business development team Olswang decided to look at a number of new CRM systems that would meet the firm's needs today and in the future.
"Although we already had the product, we took the opportunity to reevaluate the CRM marketplace and look at other packages that were not available to law firms at the time of our initial decision to purchase InterAction," said Milan Dalal, Head of Business Development at Olswang. "We concluded that InterAction remains the most advanced, sophisticated product on the market in terms of functionality and user interface. We also liked that it’s tried and tested and has continued to evolve over the years based on the needs of professional services firms."
Several product capabilities influenced Olswang’s decision to upgrade to InterAction 5.1. Most significant was the system’s advanced Microsoft® Outlook® integration that enables fee earners to contribute to the centralised repository simply by continuing to use Outlook as they normally would. Also compelling was InterAction’s ability to push out relationship intelligence to fee earners directly to their Outlook desktops, thus greatly reducing the learning curve, a significant barrier to adoption of the system. "InterAction’s Outlook integration will contribute significantly to the overall success of the implementation," explained Dalal. "It is very intuitive and will enable fee earners to drill down into client information from Outlook without having to worry about where the data is coming from."
Another compelling InterAction 5.1 feature was Watch List, which automatically alerts fee earners when important meetings, phone calls or other events occur with their clients or prospects. "Our fee earners want to stay on top of everything happening with their clients," said Dalal. "The Watch List™ will serve as fee earners’ default home page on our intranet, making it the first thing they see every day when they sign in."
InterAction remains the undisputed leader in professional services CRM and Interface Software is committed to maintaining that position," said Barry Solomon, Interface Software’s executive vice president. "We are delighted that Olswang remains confident in our technology and has chosen us to support its strategic business development efforts."
