NEW PROVIDENCE, NJ, November 28, 2005 - In response to the wide range of financial, ethical and technological forces that continue to change the legal environment and increase the volume of litigation nationwide, Foley & Lardner LLP will once again host the annual Business Litigation Conference in December.

Following a successful conference in 2004, Foley and co-sponsors LexisNexis Martindale-Hubbell and Corporate Legal Times have seen interest grow exponentially from inside counsel who want to attend a conference focused solely on business litigation issues.

The complimentary conference will take place on December 4-6, 2005, at the Ritz-Carlton Orlando. The conference brings together national in-house counsel responsible for litigation issues and will focus on the latest litigation strategies and new corporate litigation management techniques available. Conference sessions range from global litigation, evidence preservation, trade secret protection, privacy and security litigation, and ethical issues related to the attorney-client privilege.

"From managing electronic evidence requests to data privacy issues and harnessing the latest technological advances, in-house counsel are expected to maintain their ethical obligations while delivering exceptional results," said Jon M. Wilson, partner in Foley & Lardner’s Los Angeles office and chair of the firm’s litigation department. "This conference will bring together a distinguished group of faculty members from around the U.S. who will share ideas regarding litigation management, both inside and outside of the courtroom, as well as various strategies for in-house counsel to add value to their companies’ bottom lines."

There is no fee to attend this unique program and CLE credits may be available to attendees (dependent upon state requirements). The conference is open to in-house counsel only.
