DAYTON, OH, March 01, 2005 - LexisNexis Martindale-Hubbell, the leading client development company for the legal profession, has entered into a strategic alliance with the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (NACDL) to make a variety of Web-based marketing services from LexisNexis® Martindale-Hubbell® more widely available to NACDL members.

Under terms of the new agreement, Martindale-Hubbell will work with the NACDL to educate its members about effective online marketing options they can use to better market their practices on the Internet. Among the options the company will offer to NACDL members are Martindale-Hubbell Lawyer Locator HomePages, dynamic Web sites that provide a cost-effective channel for small law firms to present their credentials.

In addition, the NACDL will also be granted a free license to place Martindale-Hubbell lawyers.comsm "Find A Lawyer" search box on its association Web site (www.nacdl.org
). The lawyers.com search engine provides visitors with free, unlimited searches of the lawyers.com database of more than 440,000 lawyers and law firms worldwide. Users can search by criteria such as name, city, state, area of practice and even languages spoken.

"Law firms must make some difficult choices when deciding how to market their practices on the Web. NACDL members are no different and we look forward to working with them to develop strategies that will help them attract new clients," said Paul Gazzolo, chief operating officer of New Providence, N.J.-based LexisNexis Martindale-Hubbell. "We’re excited about our relationship with the NACDL because it will enable more attorneys to showcase their qualifications on lawyers.com and will provide even more visibility for our attorney database."
