Create a Customized Message for Your
Library To Direct Users to Your Collections
LexisNexis™Government Periodicals Index
is an invaluable tool for locating information published by the
government on scores of topics. The product includes links to government
periodicals on the web for more than half of the titles indexed,
but students and researchers need to be informed about where copies
of publications can be located within your library.
Help students and researchers easily locate the documents
they have discovered through LexisNexis Government Periodicals Index
with the service’s "Locate a Copy" functionality. You
can set up a custom message and/or hyperlink to build awareness
of your holdings. This message will be displayed when users click
the "Locate a Copy of This Publication In Your Library"
link that appears at the top of retrieved documents.
The message may include both a hyperlink and a text message, but
the combined length must be under 255 characters.
E-mail your custom message to academicsupport@lexisnexis.com along
with your:
- Name
- Title
- E-mail address
- Mailing address
- Phone number
Please put the name of your institution and the words "GPU
Locate a Copy" in the subject line of your e-mail.
