LexisNexis Primary Sources provides
the user with 3 options to access documents:
- Keyword Search:
- A keyword or combination of keywords
can be specified. LexisNexis Primary Sources in U.S. History will search and
display a citation list of all the documents that include your
search terms.
- Subject Search:
- The user can select Search by Subject and search all documents
in LexisNexis Primary Sources in U.S. History using a controlled vocabulary of
index terms developed specifically for this service.

- Browse Collections:
- The user can bypass performing a search
and browse the collections by subject, title, or document type.
Help
Contained in the product is a complete Help
section containing an overview of search features and information
on the general use and citation formats of different document types.
Content-specific help is also available on the individual search
forms. This Help section is available from any page within LexisNexis
History.
LexisNexis Primary Sources in U.S. History is available
for campus-wide and remote access at colleges and universities for
unlimited student and faculty use. Remote access translates to convenience,
high use, and satisfied users. For public libraries and high schools,
the service is available for unlimited use within the building.
