Web products upon which you would like training (Note: Academic generally requires 1.5- 2 hours time. All other products can be covered in 45 minutes to 1 hour each.)
If Academic is to be included, please specify upon which sections instructor should focus. Most trainees want News, Business and Legal. Other choices are Medical and Reference.
What is the level of training most attendees will require? Basic training generally assumes little or no knowledge of Boolean search logic, connectors or wildcards. Advanced training assumes comfort with the above and will instead focus on fielded or segment searching.
Web products you would like to have demonstrated to you for possible future purchase or trial subscriptions?
For onsite sessions: what type of training facility do you have available? Preference would be to have hands-on access for attendees, but conference room with overhead and laptop is another possibility. What is the seating capacity of the room?
Requested dates and times for training: Note: This assumes that your training facility is available and that the request is being made at least two months in advance of the requested date(s) Note: Requested dates and times cannot be guaranteed and are not considered firm until you have been contacted via phone or email by the appropriate trainer. Please list at least 3 preferences for dates and times, per the example below: 1) March 5 10 a.m. - 12 noon, and 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. 2) March 6 10 a.m. - 12 noon and 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. 3) March 12 10 a.m. - 12 noon, and 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Name and address (no P.O. Box numbers, please) to which training materials can be sent in advance via overnight or 2-day couriers.
Anticipated number of attendees. (Note: A minimum of 10 attendees per session is required. You may invite both library staff and faculty, but students should not be included unless they are also library staff.)
URL for school or consortia web site containing directions to campus and/or recommendations for hotels in area (if applicable) If info not available via URL, please provide alternate method for obtaining this info or the info itself.)
