Japan Orders: All orders destined to Japan must be processed through CIS’s
agents in Japan. Far Eastern Booksellers, Kinokuniya Company Ltd., and Maruzen Co. Ltd.
are authorized representatives of Environment Abstracts and Current Issues
SourceFile. Other CIS titles, excluding Environment Abstracts and Current
Issues SourceFile, are exclusively represented in Japan by Maruzen Co., Ltd. Far
Eastern Booksellers, Kinokuniya Company Ltd., and Maruzen Co. Ltd. are authorized
representatives of CIS titles, except for Congressional, which is
exclusively represented by Maruzen Co. Ltd.
Processing and Delivery
Orders are processed daily, as promptly as possible. Shipments are made via carriers
selected by the publisher, unless a specific manner of shipment is requested. Priority
orders are subject to availability of material, and there may be a modest additional
charge for "rush" service and shipment. Under normal circumstances, products
generally will be shipped and current services will begin within two to six weeks from the
date on which an order is received.
Payment Terms
For customers with approved credit, prepayment is not required. Our regular payment
terms are net 30 days. Payment must be in U.S. funds only.
Maryland customers, unless tax-exempt, please add 5% sales tax. Illinois customers,
unless tax-exempt, please add 6.25% sales tax. A tax-exempt certificate must be provided
for our files. Canadian customers, please add 7% for Goods and Services Tax.
