LexisNexis receives a total of 18 @ Awards for favorite legal technology solutions

SEATTLE, Wash., June 08, 2006 - LexisNexis® Applied Discovery®, a leading provider of electronic discovery services to the nation's top law firms and corporations, has been named the Favorite Electronic Discovery Solution by members of TechnoLawyer, a leading online legal technology and practice management forum with over 13,000 members across the United States, for the third consecutive year. This recognition comes as part of the ninth annual TechnoLawyer @ Awards, which were announced on
June 1, 2006.

"The TechnoLawyer @ Awards are particularly gratifying because award recipients are determined by the votes of legal professionals who are dedicated to the use of technology in their work," said Scott Nagel, Vice President of Strategy and Client Services at LexisNexis Applied Discovery. "The TechnoLawyer community is a sophisticated group of technology consumers, and their collective stamp of approval is a real honor."

The TechnoLawyer @ Awards cover 24 different technology product and service categories. TechnoLawyer members are lawyers and legal IT managers who buy technology for thousands of law firms, making them particularly well qualified to choose the top products and services in the legal technology market.

In addition to Applied Discovery's recognition as Favorite Electronic Discovery Solution, other LexisNexis services and applications received honors from the TechnoLawyer community. The company took home the top award in 18 different categories and received eight additional "finalist" designations, making LexisNexis the year's top winner across all categories.

"Applied Discovery's success in connecting with legal professionals like those who belong to the TechnoLawyer community is a testament to the company's dedication to developing relevant, cost-effective solutions to the problems encountered in today's discovery practice," said Michele Vivona, Vice President & General Manager for Litigation Services at LexisNexis. "The other LexisNexis products honored with @ Awards represent a broad cross-section of the company's best-of-breed offerings and particularly showcase our continuing commitment to litigators."
