A Powerful New Tool to Assist You in the Critical Case-Investigation Process

Announcing LexisNexis® CourtLink® Document Finder feature

  • Locate a judge’s rulings in cases similar to one you’re involved in now—quickly—and order them with a single click.

  • Identify the work product/documents filed in past similar cases by an attorney that you’re facing in a current case.

  • Enter your search criteria and find the documents you need in a single click, rather than running multiple searches and drilling down into the dockets to look for documents of interest.

With the new CourtLink Document Finder feature, this will all be possible.

CourtLink Document Finder mines the deep historical CourtLink database of court records, including up to 20 years of case history to locate the documents listed within the dockets that meet your search criteria.

Run your search to locate documents meeting your key criteria, including:

  • Type of document
  • Nature of suit
  • Parties
  • Jurisdiction

You can then view or obtain documents of interest to you from the results page.

To run a CourtLink Document Finder search:

  • Log on to http://courtlink.lexisnexis.com
  • Click Search from the CourtLink top navigation menu
  • Click the red Document Finder button
  • Select a court, nature of suit, and document type. You may also enter additional criteria such as party name and/or date range to further narrow your search.
  • Click Next. Verify your criteria and click Submit Search.
