Get to the Bottom of Expert Witness Testimony

When you want to know what an expert actually said, consult LexisNexis® Expert Witness Transcripts, an exclusive collection of more than 2,000 full-text and excerpt transcripts with more to come. You’ll find full-text and excerpt transcripts of expert witnesses’ trial and deposition testimony in cases reported by LexisNexis legal editors as well as those provided from select Court Reporting Agencies. As the collection grows, it will include full-text transcripts of experts who have testified in a variety of case types throughout the United States in both federal and state courts.

  • Uncover potential discrepancies and/or consistencies in testimony that could be used to either impeach or support the credibility of an expert witness.
  • Identify elements of a case that might require the assistance of an expert.
  • Evaluate expert witnesses’ strengths and weaknesses related to his/her area of expertise.
  • Operate from a position of strength in relation to an opponent’s expert witness.

To search the Expert Witness Transcripts, Log on to the lexis.com® service; select the Search, by Source and Legal tabs; click Briefs, Motions, Pleadings & Verdicts on the main menu screen and click Expert Witness Transcripts under the Experts.
