  • Gather competitive intelligence

Vast numbers of records don’t do you any good if you can’t quickly find the facts you need and then make the connections between those facts. LexisNexis gives you a choice of tools that let you pinpoint the facts you need and then make connections among people, businesses and property.

And now the organization of information under the public records tab has a new look that reflects a more intuitive, task-based organization, with sources broken out into specific categories. This new organization offers a more friendly approach to locating appropriate public records sources.

For example, if you need to find the current address and phone number for a person or confirm basic identifying information that was provided by a client or witness, you can now go to the “Find a Person” category to select an appropriate source. Similarly, if you need to locate assets for an entity, you can access the appropriate sources under the “Find an Asset” category, regardless of whether the asset is real or personal property. This new organization of the public records research tab makes public records research much more efficient than the previous source organization.

For the most effective way to get all the facts you need about a person, business or location, be sure to check out LexisNexis® SmartLinx®. This powerful tool lets you comb through the billions of public records on lexis.com® with one easy search and view all the relevant facts in a revealing, easy-to-read single report. SmartLinx Summary Reports are analytically generated using over 3,000 public records sources. For example: person locator directories, voter registrations, licenses, real property records and the information is logically associated in ways that would normally take hours or days to cross-reference using traditional methods. See for yourself. To learn more about LexisNexis Smartlinx reports, take the quick product tour.
