Mike Rogers has had two decades of experience as a trial lawyer.  He is a leader in the use of the computer in every aspect of trial.  Mr. Rogers has personally tried over 65 trials to verdict, and he has helped plaintiff’s firms bring in over one hundred forty five million dollars in verdicts and settlements.  On the defense side has helped defeat over seventy eight million dollars in claims.

Mike is the president of Ronin Consulting Ltd.  Ronin is a litigation technology consulting firm that specializes in helping lawyers organize, analyze and present their cases.  Ronin has helped trial lawyers present their cases at mediations, arbitrations, pretrial hearings and trials through the skilful use of computers, demonstrative graphics and other electronic technology.
An expert at tactical analysis and case presentation, he advises trial lawyers on the analysis of their cases in order to create the most persuasive case themes.  Following from this, he helps them identify and create visual presentations to drive the theme effectively and forcefully during the trial hearing.

Before starting Ronin Consulting, Mike Rogers was a nationally recognized trial lawyer, lecturer and teacher. He is a licensed attorney in Illinois with a pending application for the State of New York. 

Mike started an adjunct professor of law at Chicago Kent College of Law of the Illinois Institute of Technology, where he taught Trial Advocacy.  In 2000 Mike developed the first Litigation Technology curriculum in the Illinois, and now teaches Litigation Technology and eDiscovery at Chicago Kent. In this course, lawyers and law students are instructed in the wide range of use of computers in the trial and discovery process.
Mike Rogers’ hornbook  “Litigation Technology: Using Sanction, PowerPoint at Trial” was published by Aspen Publishing in 2006.
