NEW YORK - A federal judge in New York on Nov. 14 granted in part and denied in part shareholders' motion to amend their class action complaint against Citigroup Inc. and others for alleged violations of state and federal securities laws, ruling that the plaintiffs' proposed amendments are not completely futile (Daniel Brecher, et al. v. Citigroup Inc., et al., No. 09-7359, S.D. N.Y.; 2011 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 131104l; See April 2009, Page 19).
