Supreme Court Won't Hear Ruling Involving Challenge To Pharmaceutical Merger

WASHINGTON, D.C. - The U.S. Supreme Court on Dec. 12 declined to review the Ninth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals' ruling dismissing a second attempt by several California retail pharmacies that purchase drugs from Pfizer Inc. and Wyeth to obtain a judgment of divestiture requiring the two companies to unwind their $68 billion merger (Golden Gate Pharmacy Services, Inc., et al. v.
