NEW YORK - A federal judge in New York on Dec. 22 denied a motion for leave to amend filed by family members of convicted Ponzi scheme mastermind Bernard L. Madoff, ruling that the family members failed to properly plead that an interlocutory appeal is warranted (Irving H. Picard v. Estate of Mark D. Madoff, et al., No. 11-0379, S.D.
