GE Funding To Pay $70M To Settle Municipal Bond Antitrust Investigation

WASHINGTON, D.C. - GE Funding Capital Market Services Inc. entered into an agreement on Dec. 23 with the U.S. Department of Justice Antitrust Division to pay $70 million to resolve an investigation under Section 1 of the Sherman Act related to GE Funding's conduct in the municipal bond investments market.
