NEW YORK - A federal judge in New York on Dec. 15 appointed a shareholder as lead plaintiff in a securities class action lawsuit against Smith Barney Asset Management LLC and others and appointed the law firms of Stull, Stull & Brody and Weiss & Lurie as co-lead counsel, ruling that the shareholder has met all statutory requirements for appointment as lead plaintiff (In re Smith Barney Transfer Agent Litigation, No. 05-7583, S.D.
