HOUSTON - A federal judge in Texas on Jan. 5 refused to strike the testimony of a U.S. government expert witness who believes that alleged Ponzi scheme mastermind R. Allan Stanford has recovered enough from head injuries suffered in a prison fight to stand trial on criminal charges related to his operation of the scheme (United States of America v.
