NEW YORK - A federal judge in New York on Jan. 11 denied a renewed motion to dismiss filed by a defendant in a securities lawsuit that argued that dismissal is warranted pursuant to the U.S. Supreme Court's ruling in Janus Capital Group Inc. v. First Derivative Traders, holding that the reasons discussed in a hearing held that day require such a determination (Allianz Risk Transfer, Marathon Structured Finance Fund, LP, et al. v.
