Lyondell, Canadian Claimants Reach Agreement Limiting Scope Of Antitrust Actions

NEW YORK - Lyondell Chemical Co., which has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York, on Jan. 4 moved for approval of a settlement with a group of antitrust claimants from Canada, which will limit the scope of antitrust litigation in two class actions filed against the company (In Re: Lyondell Chemical Company, No. 09-10023, Chapter 11, S.D.
