SEATTLE - Bank of America N.A. filed a notice of removal in Washington federal court on Jan. 10, seeking to remove a consumer class action lawsuit that claims that Bank of America breached the terms of a credit cardholder agreement with consumers, misrepresenting to the cardholders that they would receive an annual percentage rate (APR) of 16.24 percent on credit card purchases, but raised the rate soon after to 25.24 percent (Trina M. Search v. Bank of America, N.A., No. 12-0052, W.D. Wash.). View today's headlines and listen to the latest podcast at www.lexisnexis.com/legalnews Do you have news to share?
