OMAHA, Neb. - A federal judge in Nebraska on Dec. 23 dismissed a case alleging violations of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, agreeing with a defendant that the court does not have personal jurisdiction because contacts, initiated by the plaintiff, are insufficient to support a conclusion that the defendant purposefully availed itself of the opportunity to conduct business in Nebraska (Brandon Neal v.
