SCRANTON, Pa. - A federal judge in Pennsylvania on Dec. 27 granted in part and denied in part a plaintiff's motion for judgment in a case in which she brought federal and state debt-collection claims against a debt collector, and the judge also found that the plaintiff is entitled to statutory damages and attorney fees (Cathy Sasscer v. James D. Donnelly and Does 1-10, inclusive, No. 10-464, M.D. Pa.; 2011 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 148288).
