SPRINGFIELD, Ill. - A debt collector is not entitled to judgment on the pleadings in a Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) suit filed against it because the plaintiff has stated a plausible claim for damages, a federal judge in Illinois ruled Jan. 4 (Stephanie Kaylor-Trent v.
