HONOLULU - A Hawaii appeals court on Dec. 23 found that a state circuit court erred in granting summary judgment against a plaintiff on a quantum meruit claim but otherwise upheld a case in which an officer of a company sued the company for breach of contract regarding promissory notes and oral contracts (Walter L.
