HOUSTON - The Texas federal judge overseeing the criminal trial of alleged Ponzi scheme mastermind R. Allan Stanford on Jan. 13 issued a number of orders in the proceeding, including two denying Stanford's motion to dismiss the indictment against him and a motion filed by his legal counsel seeking to withdraw as counsel, respectively (United States of America v.
