NEW YORK - The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission has properly pleaded its federal claim against a defendant in a securities fraud lawsuit, a federal judge in New York ruled Jan. 24 in denying the defendant's motion to dismiss for failure to state a claim (Securities and Exchange Commission v.
