CHICAGO - A federal judge in Illinois on March 1 granted summary judgment in favor of a bank in a suit in which a plaintiff says the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) prohibited the bank from obtaining her credit report, finding that the bank legally obtained the report under the statute (Aleshire v.
