Both Classes Of LCD Purchasers Will Try Antitrust Claims To Single Jury

SAN FRANCISCO - The federal judge in California overseeing the film transistor-liquid crystal display (TFT-LCD) antitrust class action litigation on March 21 denied the indirect purchasers' request for a trial separate from the direct purchasers' trial on their claims that the manufacturers conspired to raise and fix the price of TFT-LCD panels and certain products containing those panels for more than 10 years, resulting in overcharges to purchasers (In re: TFT-LCD [Flat Panel] Antitrust Litigation [All Direct Purchaser Actions], MDL No. 3:07-md-1827 SI, N.D.
