Chocolate Candy Direct Purchasers' Conspiracy Claims Are Certified As Class Action

HARRISBURG, Pa. - A federal judge in Pennsylvania on Dec. 7 certified a class of more than 2,900 direct purchasers on their claims that chocolate candy manufacturers conspired to fix prices in violation of Section 1of the Sherman Act following the judge's conclusion that the testimony of the purchasers' experts was admissible (In re: Chocolate Confectionary Antitrust Litigation $(Direct Purchaser Plaintiffs$), No. 1:08-MDL-1935, W.D.
