President Obama Signs Largest Financial Regulation Bill Since the 1930’s.

On July 21, President Obama signed into law H.R. 4173, the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act.   The act promises to bring in sweeping financial reform, including oversight for financial institutions as well as the creation of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), tasked with protecting consumer interests by regulating financial products.
