Jeremy S. Sloane Joins Akerman Senterfitt’s Corporate Practice in Orlando

ORLANDO, Fla. – Jeremy S. Sloane has joined Akerman Senterfitt’s Corporate group as Of Counsel in the Orlando office. Sloane’s practice focuses primarily on advising clients with respect to complex commercial transactions; mergers and acquisitions; corporate, partnership, and limited liability company matters; and tax planning and structuring. He has structured, negotiated and documented multi-million dollar transactions across a wide variety of industries, both throughout the country and around the globe.
 
Mr. Sloane joins Akerman from Zimmerman Kiser & Sutcliffe, P.A., in Orlando, where he was a shareholder. He earned his law degree and bachelor's degree from the University of Florida, and an LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Miami. He is admitted to the Florida and Maryland Bars, the United States Tax Court, United States Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit and the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida. During his legal career, Mr. Sloane has demonstrated a strong commitment to providing pro bono legal services to numerous organizations in Florida and Maryland, and has been recognized by the Florida Supreme Court and the Legal Aid Society for those efforts.
