Cohen & Grigsby Forges Partnership with the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust

PITTSBURGH - Cohen & Grigsby, a business law firm with headquarters in Pittsburgh, PA and offices in Naples and BonitaSprings, FL, has formed a partnership with the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust to be the Presenting Sponsor of the 2008-2009 "Trust Presents" series. A programming division of The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust, the "Trust Presents" series brings a diverse array of entertainment to Pittsburgh's Cultural District - from live music and uproarious comedy to literary luminaries and world-famous artists.

"Cohen & Grigsby's new headquarters at 625 Liberty Avenue returned the firm to the heart of the Cultural District earlier this year, and this partnership with the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust demonstrates the firm's commitment to our city and to supporting the arts and other cultural pursuits here," noted Jack Elliott, president and CEO of Cohen & Grigsby. "In addition, the partnership correlates very closely with what we call our 'culture of performance,' a philosophy that permeates the entire organization. Every member of our firm ? partners, associates and support staff alike ? takes responsibility for client satisfaction and success. Our work does not begin and end with the billable hour, but rather is rooted in our mission to serve our clients not only as legal counsel but also as business advisors."

Cohen & Grigsby relocated its Pittsburgh headquarters from Stanwix Street to its newly renovated offices at 625 Liberty Avenue (formerly the DominionTower) this fall. More than 200 attorneys and staff now occupy four floors in the downtown high rise. The relocation was a homecoming for Cohen & Grigsby, which called the DominionTower its home until 1998.

"Cohen & Grigsby looks forward to a long-lasting relationship with the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust. It is an organization that is truly dedicated to the preservation and promotion of the arts in our city, something that is crucial for a region that continues to redefine itself," added Elliott.

"Generous benefactors such as Cohen & Grigsby enable the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust to continue offering a wide array of compelling entertainment to the region," noted J. Kevin McMahon, president of the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust. "We are pleased that we have formed a partnership with the firm, and we look forward to finding other ways for our two organizations to collaborate in the future."

The 2008-2009 edition of the "Trust Presents" series includes nearly 20 performances at both the Byham Theater and the BenedumCenter. Among those on this season's playbill are Lily Tomlin, the National Acrobats of China and David Sedaris. "Trust Presents" runs through April 5, 2009.
